Wall Decal Guide
Order Process
- Choose your Decal/s: Browse our online store and select what decals you would like for your home or caravan.
- Complete your Purchase: After you have placed your order you will receive an automatically generated email confirming your order.
- Free Artproof: If you have selected a custom or personalised decal set, our graphic designer will then see the info you have specified on your order and prepare some artwork for your review.
- Review and Approval: You will then have a chance to review your order and approve or request amendments (amendments are unlimited).
- Production: Once you have approved your artwork, your order will be sent into production. Please allow 1-2 working days for production.
- Shipping & Delivery: Once your order has been completed in production, you will receive a dispatch email containing a tracking number. Hooray!

A Creative Hart is very proud to offer FREE DELIVERY AUSTRALIA WIDE FOR ORDERS OVER $100.
For orders below $100, we offer a $9.95 Flat Rate Standard Delivery within Australia. Thats it.
When you order from us, you wont get any extra postage charges at the checkout. We're upfront about it, which means you know exactly what you're getting right from the very start.
A Creative Hart is located on the NSW Mid North Coast, Australia. All orders are sent by registered Australia Post. Tracking is included with every order.

Delivery address.
Please ensure your delivery address at the time of placing your order is correct. If you enter an incorrect address, A Creative Hart is not responsible for re-sending the order to the correct address at our own expense.
How long does it take for my order to be dispatched?
Estimates of production times are provided below:
- Stock Orders: 1-2 Working Days
- Custom Products: 5 Working Days
Please let us know if you need your order urgently and we will let you know if we can meet your deadline. In 99% of cases the answer is yes.
How long does it take for orders to be delivered once dispatched?
All orders within Australia are sent via Registered Australia Post which includes tracking. We are able to ship to PO Boxes.
Postage times are according to your delivery address is within the Australian metropolitan area. Orders dispatched via standard delivery, can take between 3-5 business days from the shipping notification email.
If your delivery address is not within the Australian metropolitan area, standard orders can take up to 10 business days from the shipping notification email.
International deliveries to metropolitan areas will usually take between 10-20 business days from the shipping notification email.
Custom Duties and Taxes
Please also be aware that international orders may attract a customs duties tax. Please check with your local customs authority for further information prior to placing an order. We take no responsibility in any way for duties and additional charges imposed on your order to be released from customs.
Please note: It is a legal requirement that we declare the full value of the goods on all packages sent to a location outside of Australia. It is a criminal offence to falsify the details on this form. We cannot inaccurately describe the contents, claim a lower value or mark as a gift.
Can I express post?
Yes you can, however you will need to contact us to arrange Express Post. A separate invoice will be emailed to you directly for payment prior to dispatch.
Delivery times once your order has been dispatched depend on delivery location. If your order is urgent please Contact Us and we will make sure if it is possible to have your order to you on time.
Returns and Refunds
We do not accept refunds or returns for your order, so please choose carefully. If your order has been damaged in transit from us to you, please take a photo of them and send it through to us. We will be happy to offer you a replacement at no extra cost.

Wall Preparation
If you are installing your decals onto a painted wall please ensure that the wall doesn't have any prior damage.
A two coat paint systems is standard for interior walls and is perfectly suitable for our decals.
If the walls you are placing your decals onto have been freshly painted, please let the paint to properly dry before applying them to your walls. We recommend allowing 1 full week after painting to then apply your decals.
You must ensure the wall surface is clean, dry and does not have any dust or fibres on it.
It is a good idea to clean the wall surface before application. Do not use chemicals. Ensure you clean the wall surface with a warm cloth or mico-fibre towel.
Please note: PhotoTex is not recommended for use on textured surfaces, paints containing teflon, washable paints (see more information below), paint without a base layer of quality primer or paint that is flaking or in need of repair.
Paints
PhotoTex is not recommend for application on washable paints manufactured by any brand, or with any name containing Wash and Wear. “Wash and wear” or “washable” paints contain an additive that acts as a repellent to the adhesive. In Australia, these paints are commonly known as “wash and wear” paints. Multiple Australian and international brands stock these “stain resistant”, “washable”, "wipe clean" products. We advise our consumers to ALWAYS check the paint type used on their walls before purchasing our product.
Both we, and our customers have found that our smaller decals will adhere to “wash and wear” or washable paints, however we make no guarantees. Due to the heavier weight of our murals large arch decals, we NEVER recommend applying our murals or large arch decals to washable paints.
Important consideration: Renters should be especially cautious and note the points above, given that they may not have prepared and painted the walls themselves.
